Debbie’s Dream Foundation (DDF) is dedicated to defeating stomach cancer and increasing funding and research to eradicate it. Through advocacy and public policy efforts, DDF strives to help patients and families get the help they need. The foundation began when Debra Zelman was diagnosed with stage IV stomach cancer in 2008 at the age of 40. She saw a huge lack of information and resources, and after practicing law for 16 years, closed her practice and poured all her efforts into the Debbie’s Dream Foundation as president and director.

“We are so grateful for Stewart’s generous contribution to our Night of Laughter fundraiser at the Improv,” said Debbie’s Dream Foundation director Debra Zelman. “He made a fantastic stand-up comedian at the event. He had the whole crowd laughing.”

Attorney Stewart Lapayowker is very active in his community and sponsors DDF’s efforts to find a cure for stomach cancer. He also makes a contribution to the Corporate Angel Network every time a corporate aircraft transaction is completed for a client.
