Restaurant and Gaming Chain Settles Deadly Drunk Patron Lawsuit

New Haven, CT (Law Firm Newswire) July 6, 2011 – The family of Joseph Borselio is finally getting some closure three years after a deadly drunk-driving accident killed their son. Borselio was fatally struck on his bicycle by Douglas Moore. Moore had been at Dave & Buster’s in West Nyack, New York and was allegedly over served alcoholic drinks. Moore is serving four years in jail for the incident. He had a blood-alcohol level of 0.21 at the time of the crash. The legal limit in New York is 0.08. Moore did plead guilty to manslaughter with a motor vehicle and after he serves jail time he will have three years of probation and community service.
