San Francisco, CA (Law Firm Newswire) August 23, 2013 – In an effort to maintain and enhance quality listings in their peer-to-peer directory, Lawyer Plugin, the innovative, free WordPress plugin for attorneys and law firms, has established strictly enforced peer-to-peer network terms.

“Developers are maintaining the strictest quality controls possible to ensure the peer-to-peer network is consistently useful and of high quality,” stated lawyer Plugin senior developer Justin Torres. “All of the peer-to-peer listings are verified by staff and additions are closely monitored as they are submitted.”

Attorneys who wish to be included must: be licensed with at least one verifiable office in the United States; provide accurate practice information; list only the law firm’s primary website – no additional or separate landing pages; and have a properly installed Plugin configuration which includes a resources page.

Any listing which includes false information, an invalid website, or is without proper resource page configuration will immediately be suspended to maintain high-quality standards for users. If the suspension was due to a listing error, reinstatement can be requested at http://www.lawyerplugin.com/relist/.

Lawyer Plugin’s Peer-to-Peer network works to drive relevant traffic to law firm websites from the websites of other lawyers who are not geographical competitots in the same practice area. Lawyer Plugin’s Peer-to-Peer network is not a link exchange; keyword stuffing is forbidden, strictly monitored and enforced.

The plugin aims to build a comprehensive network thus their code enforcement has taken a soft approach to dealing with listings that are not in compliance. Friendly notifications are sent out (after a listing is suspended) offering a clear path on how to get the listing back up.
