Tustin, CA (Law Firm Newswire) March 29, 2017 – Wallin & Klarich, A Law Corporation today announced that applications are now being accepted for The Wallin & Klarich Scholarship for law school students.

Through the scholarship, the criminal defense law firm headquartered in Orange County aims to grow a new generation of defense lawyers by helping them overcome the financial burden of obtaining a law degree.

The winner of The Wallin & Klarich Scholarship will receive a $2,500 check to be used toward law school tuition or law school required books. Previous winners of the scholarship have attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, Calif. and The University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.

In order to be eligible for The Wallin & Klarich Scholarship, entrants must be a graduating college senior in California who will be attending an accredited California law school in the Fall. Eligible students must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA in undergraduate studies and must have an interest in pursuing a career in criminal defense.

Applicants must submit a 1,000-1,300 word essay outlining why they are interested in a career in criminal defense and the challenges they have faced during their journey to law school.
