West Palm Beach, FL (Law Firm Newswire) November 13, 2018 - Accomplished West Palm Beach criminal defense attorney Ron Herman (Herman Law, P.A.) has been re-appointed to the Wellington Public Safety Committee. He was then honored to be reelected as its Chair for the second consecutive year. Before serving as Chair, Ron was Vice Chair of the Committee.

What Does the Public Safety Committee Do?

The purpose of Public Safety Committee is to promote safety in the local community, a deeply personal concern for Ron Herman. The committee takes significant steps to ensure public safety, including assisting in developing and updating the village’s Disaster Preparedness Plan, aiding Neighborhood Watch groups, and helping to provide safety education to the community at large.

As the Chair of this important committee, Mr. Herman has taken on its mission -- to spread the word and to involve a greater proportion of the local population in committing to create a safer environment -- as a personal goal. Ron Herman, like the other committee members, is seeking more and better ways to disseminate information about the group’s efforts to protect and preserve Wellington, known to be an outstanding community in Palm Beach County. With exceptional schools, lovely homes, scenic parks, and magnificent equestrian trails, Wellington has a great many qualities worth fighting to protect.

Mr. Herman’s previous background as a prosecutor and his current work as a criminal defense attorney gives him a comprehensive perspective on the justice system that is invaluable to the Public Safety Committee. Ron Herman looks forward to continuing to serve and lead his community and thanks his fellow Public Safety Committee members for the opportunity to lead and work together on another successful year.
