Ron Herman Re-Elected Chair of Wellington Public Safety Committee

He was then honored to be reelected as its Chair for the second consecutive year. Before serving as Chair, Ron was Vice Chair of the Committee.

What Does the Public Safety Committee Do?

The purpose of Public Safety Committee is to promote safety in the local community, a deeply personal concern for Ron Herman. The committee takes significant steps to ensure public safety, including assisting in developing and updating the village’s Disaster Preparedness Plan, aiding Neighborhood Watch groups, and helping to provide safety education to the community at large.

As the Chair of this important committee, Mr. Herman has taken on its mission — to spread the word and to involve a greater proportion of the local population in committing to create a safer environment — as a personal goal. Ron Herman, like the other committee members, is seeking more and better ways to disseminate information about the group’s efforts to protect and preserve Wellington, known to be an outstanding community in Palm Beach County.
