Dr. Goldstein is a member of Remote Area Medical (RAM) Volunteer Corps that offers dental and medical services to the underserved.

The Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps is a non-profit, volunteer, airborne relief corps dedicated to providing free health care, eye care, dental care, veterinary services, and educational and technical assistance to those in remote areas of the United States and the world.

Dr. Goldstein also played a major role in the identification of the victims in the September 2001 attack on the World Trade Center and the crash of American Airlines flight 587. He received a commendation from the office of New York’s Chief Medical Examiner for his services as a member of the New York Identification Unit.
