On June 24, 2015, Chris D’Amico Jr., age 10, lost his life in a pontoon boating accident in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. His parents managed to turn this devastating loss into a kindness movement.

The Kindness for Christopher Movement was initially intended as a local initiative, but has now become a global one. The D’Amico family launched it in July 2015 with one request: do one random act of kindness on the 24th of each month in Chris Jr.’s name. The story was picked up by the media, and now the Facebook page has over 10,000 likes with people all over the world, posting acts of kindness. The D’Amico’s story is a powerful and inspirational one. Do not miss it.
