Delivering More Traffic than Yellow Book Again

The reports for the fourth quarter of 2011 are out and once again, Lawfirmnewswire.com sends more traffic to law firm’s websites than the Yellow Pages and lawyer directories.

After sister company SEO | Law Firm performed their quarterly review of clients, they determined for the second quarter in a row that Lawfirmnewswire.com sent more traffic to their clients between October 2011 and December 31st (for clients that published two or more press releases each month) than any other source.

Since they are not allowed to release statistics without client approval, they have released particular client stats from several states. The referrer on the left is the originator or traffic source and the number on the right reflects the total number of visitors from that source for last three months of 2011.

In all events, Lawfirmnewswire.com was the number 1 referrer of traffic. In the released report, they omitted non-directory websites from the lineup, however Lawfirmnewswire.com was the top referrer of traffic among ALL website sources not just when compared to directories.

Topics and timing play a role in press release popularity. The Texas firm that received 567 visitors from their press releases on Lawfirmnewswire.com did a series of features related to a very popular practice area at a time when it was getting a lot of media coverage.
