Flint, MI (Law Firm Newswire) June 18, 2014 – Legislation that would increase penalties for driving under the influence of drugs has passed the Michigan House. The proposal would bring drug-related penalties more in line with the penalties for drunk driving. Under the proposed legislation, drivers who refuse or fail a chemical test for driving under the influence of drugs could be subject to confiscation of their driver’s license.
