Northville, MI (Law Firm Newswire) January 6, 2015 – A new study by the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California found that the average service member faces considerable challenges when transitioning to civilian life after service. The study found that close to two-thirds of veterans are unprepared for civilian life. Upon leaving the service, nearly 80 percent do not have a job lined up, while 40 percent do not have housing arrangements. The veterans also face physical and mental health issues.
