NYC Aircraft Conference to Cover Significant Business Aviation Matters
Fort Lauderdale, FL (Law Firm Newswire) July 5, 2011 - Experts in business aviation and attendees will meet in New York City on June 9 through 10 to discuss the latest in tax, regulatory, and risk management concerns at the 2011 Business Aircraft Transactions Conference. The National Business Aviation Association will host the event at the Manhattan Hilton and give attendees insight into the business aircraft market, how to overcome financing challenges, and maximize business opportunities.
Aviation transaction attorney Stewart H. Lapayowker will moderate a panel of speakers on Friday, June 10 that will discuss issues relating to pre-purchase inspections and how to avoid expensive mistakes. The panel will also cover the critical factors of refurbishing and re-equipping older aircraft.
“There are many good buying opportunities for used small to midsize aircraft,” said Lapayowker, whose law firm has been named Aviation Law Firm of the Year 2010 by Dealmakers Monthly Magazine. “The lecture will show you how to maximize opportunities and minimize pitfalls.”
Certain segments of the used aircraft market are beginning to recover, says the NBAA. The informative conference will also provide perspective into financial and lending matters, domestic and international aircraft regulations, and incorporate numerous networking sessions. Lapayowker and Plane Talk Radio are sponsors of the conference.
